As a wedding photographer you see a lot of love. Long stares, unabashed affection, holding hands as if tomorrow will never come. But ask a wedding photographer who's been at it for awhile, and they will tell you there can be a disparity in the passion of one couple to the next. I certainly am no fortune teller or behavior specialist but I can recognize happily versus monotony. This can occasionally happen when a couple has been living together for years and finally decide to 'finish the deal' with matrimony. Maybe the Groom seems detached, or the Bride pulls away from being romantic, but I've seen plenty of moments in shooting weddings for seven years that have made me doubt the love two people have for one another. But then there are couples like Jack and Maeghan, ultra special, lifelong clients that have a love that could never be doubted. Ever. I first met Jack and Maeghan when I was asked to shoot their senior prom photos with a few other couples. It was evident then as it is now, that they were inseparably in love. They rarely took their eyes off each other, they laughed constantly, and each showed supreme care for each other over those two hours. Fast forward to 2012, their love is deeper, richer, and more apparent then ever. They still show the same level of enthusiasm and expression of loyalty towards one another. They remain obsessed. Forever and always. What a blessing to document such feelings. This is the engagement shoot of Jack and Maeghan.
