Jason & Tina - The Wedding Collection-

She's a hair dresser extraordinaire, he's an ambitious student with multi-media talent. She's bold and self-assured, he's calm and visibly sharp. She's a brooding brunette, with the beauty of a 60's starlet. He's comfortably stout, with a soft approach. Together they are a fine blend of placidity and poise, like an untainted Renoir painting. Jason & Tina splash every room they walk in with a sort of serious celebrity aura, think Sean Penn without all the liberal outrage.

They have this interesting way of creating a serious atmosphere for photographs. I was inspired after our beach shoot (part 1 was in Laguna Beach, part 2 was the following friday at the Valley Ho) so inspired actually, that I studied a few Mad Men episodes to get a better vision of the composed faces and pulled back personalities. Some people, regardless of effort, are unable to render the right earnest look for photos. These two, I discovered, possessed said trait since the beginning of time. Equipped with this commonly acquired strength, this forceful couple punished my camera with a variety of layered looks. Their significant festivities were an utter joy to document. This is the wedding day of Jason & Tina.
