Angel Moroni Comes To The Phoenix Temple

A HUGE thanks to Bonnie Sorensen yesterday for giving Claire and I the heads up that the Angel Moroni was indeed here and going to be put up. Claire and I had a fifteen minute window and we threw together our equipment and headed over to the temple. We stationed ourselves all over the site, trying to cover multiple angles of this special event. I was totally floored at the sheer number of people that had showed to witness this spectacle. Power in numbers. When the Angel Moroni was finally placed atop the temple, and the workers were backing away, the crowd started an improv version of "The Spirit Of God" -- check the video at the bottom of this post. This whole experience was beautiful and surreal. All us Phoenixites are pinching ourselves, attempting to awake from this 'too good to be true dream'. We're finally getting our Phoenix Temple soon. And yesterday, we received our Angel Moroni.
